Aetas Gives Gives Sweet Potatoes To Less Fortunate Residents Of Baseco

AETAS – A group of Aetas gave Christmas gifts to the residents of Baseco Compound, Tondo Manila

Almost all the people in the world would say Christmas is the best time of the year. It’s the perfect time to spend more time with our family and sharing our blessings.

The Filipinos are among the people in the world who celebrated Christmas the longest. Some of them start putting decoration or ornaments in their house as early as September. That’s how festive the season is in the Philippine.

All towns and cities have their own Christmas attractions. People from different parts of the country travel just to see sights and sounds of the holiday season. Surely, there’s no other place like the Philippines.

Recently, GMA News shared photos of the Aetas giving “kamote” or sweet potatoes to the residents of Baseco in tondo, Manila on their Facebook page. They came all the way from Capas, Tarlac just to give their simple Christmas gift to the less fortunate people in Baseco.

This is the first Aeta gift-giving mission in the country. The Philippine National Police (PNP) and Philippine Airforce help them distribute their gifts.

“Grupo ng mga Aeta na mula pa sa Tarlac, nag-ala Santa Claus at namigay ng mga libreng kamote sa mga residente ng Baseco, Maynila. Ito ang kauna-unahang Aeta gift giving mission, sa tulong ng Philippine National Police at Philippine Airforce. Aabot sa sampung libong kilong kamote ang regalo ng mga Aeta sa mga residente ng Baseco, ilang araw ang Pasko”
