QC Bar Holding Party Faces Shutdown Order for Violating Health Protocols

QC Bar Violating Health Protocols for Holding Party to Shutdown by LGU

The local government unit of Quezon City (QC) to release shutdown order against the bar caught violating health protocols for holding a party.

The Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte will issue a closure order against a pub where patrons were spotted partying without face masks or social distance. According to QC Task Force Disciplina leader Rannie Ludovica, videos of the party went viral online, and the venue was identified as Cisco Bar in San Francisco Del Monte.

According to him, the Cisco Bar allegedly had a birthday party where visitors moved from table to table while various health standards were violated. Because mass gatherings are prohibited within the rigorous quarantine region, the event is classified as a super spreader event.

“Ang nangyari ho dyan sa Cisco Bar merong may birthday at ‘yung mga magkakakilala naglilipatan nang naglilipatan ng mga tables at the same time ang daming na-violate na health protocols dito,” he said.

Joy Belmote, the City Mayor, will issue a closure order against the bar following the event. According to the report, the attendees were social media influencers, according to Ludovica, who said that because they were influencers, they should already be familiar with the standards.

“Mga kilala ho eh, mga influencer po yan. Dapat alam po nila ano ang health protocols po natin,” he said.

He further stated that if they are found on-site, they will be held accountable. They’ll invite them and acquire the guest list or the required contact tracing forms. According to Ludovica, the Task Force conducts on-site inspections but failed to do so when the event occurred last Friday owing to a riot in Timog.
