Police Plowed by 10-Wheeler Truck to Death While Taking Picture in Tanay Rizal
A simple picture taking lead to the death of police after he was allegedly plowed by a 10-wheeler truck that allegedly lost its breaks in Tanay, Rizal.
A Rizal Philippine National Police (PNP) officer was crushed to death while taking a photo from a cargo truck in Tanay. Pcpl. Kirk Dauglas Tolentino, attached to the Cainta Municipal Police Station, was identified as the victim by P/Lt. Col. Resty Damaso, police chief.

According to the report, Dante Yarcia Sarmiento, the driver of a 10-wheeler transport vehicle, was arrested. According to Pat. Danilo Morales Jr.’s investigation, a horrific accident occurred at 7:30 a.m. in the curvy portion of Sitio Bayucan, Brgy., Sampaloc Tanay.
The victim took a view photo overlooking the region with its backrider relaxing from the lengthy journey when it was plowed by a 10-wheeler driven by the suspect, according to the investigation. The suspect claims he lost his brakes and sped past the curving side of the road.
The body of the victim was crushed, and the cargo truck, which was being towed by a 10-wheeler, overturned due to the lock breaking. The suspect is facing allegations of homicide by reckless imprudence and property damage.
Aside from that, officials were discovered with some unlawful drug paraphernalia, such as aluminum foil. The suspect has been imprisoned in the Tanay PNP’s detention cell.
