Did Joem Bascon just talk about the issues following his split with a vlogger?
JOEM BASCON – “The Other Wife” actor Joem Bascon speaks about issues and controversies against him and this is what he just said.
After eight long years, actor Joem Bascon confirmed in a previous article that he and vlogger Crisha Uy have broken up. He said that it was the end of it because it will surely lead to some complications if they push themselves to each other and force some things to work out. He really has to decide on what he has to do or else, he’ll just end up causing more pain to the person.
The split happened in 2019 and in 2020, he was spotted with Meryll Soriano, thus, rumors about rekindled romance ignited. And in 2021, they confirmed that they are together again along with Guido, their little bundle of joy. People online mentioned Crisha about it and she revealed in a video blog that she already knows about it even before they made it public.
She even has intriguing statements saying that their announcement was seemingly like a slap to her as it has proven that all of her hunches were true before. To recall, she also had this video released where she was seen breaking down in front of the camera while sharing her pain with her viewers after the breakup announcement.
And the actor, speaking about his baby, said that Guido has saved him from the depressing consequences of the pandemic. He said in a statement during an interview, “Sobrang saya ko, and hindi ko naramdaman siguro yung pandemic because nasa bahay lang ako and naka-focus lang kami ni Meryll sa baby namin.”
Now, in Star Magic Inside News, he talked about the past issues he has faced and how he has changed over time. He clarified that his silence before doesn’t mean proving all issues that have been accused of him but this is just his approach in dealing with negativity – calm and peaceful. He never aired his side before and up until now, he will still never share it but he stressed that what really happened is different from the stories that have been circulating online.
“Di ko naman talaga nasabi yung side ko at hanggang ngayon pinili ko talagang hindi siya sabihin. Iba ang nangyari sa mga sinasabi,” he quipped. However, he did not divulge the details whether he’s talking about his past relationship or not.
He’s now more objective in dealing with bashers. He used to be hot-headed before in engaging himself to critical comments from people online especially in remarks against his partner and his family, but now, he’s choosing the peaceful way in reacting to it.
