Bea Alonzo was asked about these two men in her life

Kapuso actress Bea Alonzo talked about her biological father and her stepfather in a recent episode of Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho.

Seasoned broadcast journalist Jessica Soho asked her about her career, her 16-hectare property, and her life growing up. In the show, it was revealed that Bea Alonzo’s parents separated when she was four years old. “Hindi ko nakilala ang totoo kong tatay,” the actress said about her British biological father.

Her mother Mommy Mary Ann has been married to her stepfather for 17 years now. Bea admitted that she did not like her stepdad at first. “Yung stepdad ko po parang naging biggest blessing sa pamilya naming kasi siya yung parang naging glue. Siya yung dahilan kung bakit kami naging ganito ka-close,” she revealed.

When Jessica Soho asked about the biological father of the actress, she said that she has no idea where he is now since she hasn’t met him. Then, the KMJS host said that their show has already helped people locate their long-lost relatives and that Bea might want this to happen to her also.

Naku, huwag na po nating hanapin ang tatay ko, kawawa naman yung nanay ko,” the actress said in jest. She added that it was a painful past but she was able to make herself whole even without her biological father.

Bea Alonzo stressed that growing up, she did not feel that there was a certain void because her mom also became her dad. She also said that as much as she wanted to have a traditional family, the fact remains that it wasn’t the same in her case. “Sometimes, you just have to be happy about it,” the actress said.
