SOLENN HEUSSAFF- Actress and model Solenn Heussaff shares how she manages and fulfills her mommy duties without a yaya to help her.
Last January 2020, Kapuso artist Solenn Heussaff officially became a mother to their first child with businessman husband Nico Bolzico. They named her Thylane Katana and she’s stealing attention now being so charming in every video her parents share on social media. She gave birth through a caesarian.
Motherhood for her, just like to anyone else, is life-changing and at the same time, challenging. In a previous article, she disclosed that she never planned to hire a “yaya” in taking care of her daughter and still would do the same on her second child. This is accordingly because she wants to be hands-on and do everything at least until she’s three years old.
In their usual routine, Nico would accordingly take care of their daughter in the morning and she will use that time to doe anything that she wants. And from that point until lunch, she’s on full mode as a mother. She shared, “We do activities like biking outside. I do colors with her and play cards. I just keep her busy because she’s at a very difficult stage. They call it the Leap 9, where her brain is just super developing and just needs to be busy all the time.”
She is working until 5 in the afternoon and when she’s done, she takes her daughter for a walk with her. And by 7 PM, she bathes Thylane and feeds her for bedtime. She added, “And then that’s when I have my dinner, watch one movie after or usually one episode a night. (I) sleep early. I’m in bed at 9:30 every night.”
Amid the pandemic where she needs to be home all the time, she’s thankful for having a full time to be with her daughter. She got to be with her in her every achievement and didn’t miss anything. She sees that she will definitely need a helper once she goes back to show business again full time. She said to Philstar, “But as of the time being, it’s just amazing that I’m able to witness every single milestone she’s going through and spend time also with Nico.”
