Following the sad news about the death of the former President, Dingdong wrote this heartfelt post on his social media account.

The actor said that PNoy was a champion of youth development. “He headed the Philippine Delegation in the monumental 2015 Paris Climate Change Conference, where we presented the Filipinos’ pledge and call for urgent global climate solution as part of the youth-led #NowPH movement,” Dingdong Dantes said about the former President.

The Kapuso star also pointed out that PNoy had dedicated his life to serving his fellowmen. However, Dingdong is particularly thankful for the chance to know PNoy beyond his work as a public servant. “Because behind that seat of power was a simple man, who beams with humility, inspiration and hope for the country,” the actor shared.

RIP PNoy

The husband of Marian Rivera also showed appreciation to the former President for trusting him. “I am truly honored to have served the Filipino Youth under his leadership,” he added.

Other celebrities who commented on the post of Dingdong Dantes attested to the words he said about Noynoy Aquino. Several netizens also agreed with what the Kapuso actor said about the former President of the Philippines. “I remember our last meeting with him inaanak. Truly an honest servant. Rip sir,” OPM  icon Ogie Alcasid commented.
