The Samsung Galaxy A22 5G was officially announced on June 3, 2021. The materials used in building the smartphone include a glass front, a plastic frame, and a plastic back. It measures 167.2 x 76.4 x 9 mm and weighs 203 grams.
Samsung Galaxy A22 5G comes in a 6.6 inches screen size and the display is TFT capacitive touchscreen that provides 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution. It is available in four colors: Gray, White, Mint, and Violet.
The 5G-ready smartphone is powered by Mediatek MT6833 Dimensity 700 5G (7 nm) processor while the graphics processing unit (GPU) is Mali-G57 MC2. It runs on the Android 11 + One UI Core 3.1 operating system.
Samsung Galaxy A22 5G come in variants such as 64GB + 4GB RAM, 128GB + 4GB RAM, 128GB + 6GB RAM and 128GB + 8GB RAM. It is kept on by a 5000 mAh built-in battery + fast charging 15W.
The rear side of the phone sports triple-camera that consists of 48-megapixel (wide) + 5-megapixel (ultrawide) + 2-megapixel (depth). On the front, there’s an 8-megapixel (wide) camera for clicking selfies.
Connectivity options on the smartphone include WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, BDS, and USB Type-C 2.0. Sensors on the device include Fingerprint (side-mounted), accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass.
