OCTA Research Supports Proposal to Maintain Face Shield Policy
The OCTA Research has expressed its supports towards the decision of President Duterte to keep the face shield policy.
Dr. Guido David said that he trust the experts who were studying the recommendation of President Rodrigo Duterte to continue requiring the wearing of face shields in both outdoor and indoor.
“We took it at face value na ‘yung ginawa nilang pag-aaral ay may basis ay sinu-support namin ‘yung decision ng Pangulo na ipatupad muna ‘yung pagsusuot ng face shield sa ngayon,” David said.

Earlier this week, Presidential spokesman Harry Roque Jr. announced that the national government would continue to implement the wearing of face shields in public places. The announcement is the response to the advice of health experts regarding the Delta variant.
“Acting on the advice of health experts and in view of the Delta variant, PRRD declared that the wearing of face shields, both indoor and outdoor, is still mandatory,” Roque said.
Mr. Duterte want to continue the implementation of face shield policy to prevent the second wave of the coronavirus pandemic in the Philippines.
