i-ACT Enforcers Apprehend Health Protocol and Traffic Violators in Pasay City
The Inter-Agency Council for Traffic – i-ACT enforcers apprehended the residents who were not wearing face shields in Pasay City.
On Tuesday morning (June 22, 2021), the enforcers of i-ACT has launched an operation to apprehend the citizens who were not wearing face shields. The enforcers also gives free face shields and reminded the public to wear it in public places.
The agency’s employees have also apprehended the jeepney drivers and passengers who were not wearing face shields along Gil Puyat corner Taft Avenue. The road personnel also issue a citation ticket towards jeepneys causing road obstruction and picking up passengers at “no loading and unloading area”.
i-ACT Special operations Team Leader Jose Manuel Bonnevie said that the jeepneys waiting passengers in not designated areas causes traffic congestion at the intersections along Roxas Boulevard corner EDSA.
The authorities caught at least 20 private and public vehicles violating the traffic rules and regulations. The officers also apprehended the private vehicle drivers who failed to wear their seat belts and motorcycle riders who were not wearing proper riding gears.

The traffic offenders are required to pay a fine worth P1, 000 for road obstruction.
