Police Arrested Most Wanted Carnapping Suspect in Nueva Vizcaya
Police authorities have arrested the allegedly most wanted suspect in carnapping in Barangay Roxas, Solano, Nueva Vizcaya.
Authorities in Tuguegarao City’s Camp Marcello A Adduru reported that they had apprehended a most wanted criminal in Barangay Roxas, Solano, Nueva Vizcaya. Job Lapitan, a resident of Purok 1, Barangay Bangar, Solano, was initially identified as the culprit.

According to the report, the suspect was apprehended by officers from the Solano Police Station, the Nueva Vizcaya Police Provincial Office, and the Nueva Vizcaya Highway Patrol Team on a warrant of arrest for kidnapping.
Lapitan was a former member of the Philippine National Police (PNP) who went AWOL in 2000, according to Police Captain Jet Sayno, the chief of the Solano Police Station. Of the same year, he was elected Barangay Chairman in his barangay in Solano, Nueva Vizcaya.
The accused is also accused of violating RA 8294 as amended by RA 9516 and Slight Physical Injury, all of which were filed against him in 2012, aside from the carnapping case.
