2 Trainee Cops Caught Sleeping Drunk Inside Jeepney in Iloilo Face Termination
DRUNK TRAINEE COPS – Two (2) police trainees face termination after caught alelgedly sleeping drunk inside a jeepney in Iloilo City.
Two police trainees in Iloilo City were captured sleeping inside a jeepney while reportedly being inebriated along the diversion road in Mandurriao district, prompting termination proceedings. According to the report, the trainees Jacob John Odrada and John Anthony Lubria were discovered by a jeepney driver who was still wearing their camouflage suits.

As he suspected the two police were officers, the driver chose not to wake them up. He eventually sought assistance from police officers who happened to be passing by while on patrol, and it was they who awoke the two.

After recognizing the two as police trainees, the Mobile Patrol Unit of the city police reported the event to a tactical officer with the Regional Learning and Doctrine Development Division, who subsequently requested a trainee accounting.
Odrada and Lubria admitted to drinking alcohol before being discovered in the jeepney during the accounting. Miranda claims that the duo’s case is complicated by the fact that Iloilo City is under MECQ, which prohibits the sale and consumption of alcoholic beverages.
