The ZTE Nubia Red Magic 6R was announced on May 27, 2021, and released on June 2, 2021. The 5G-ready smartphone has the Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is built with a glass front (Gorilla Glass 3), an aluminum frame, and a glass back.
The dimension of the device is 163 x 75.3 x 7.8 mm and weighs 186 grams. It comes in a 6.67 inches screen size and the display is AMOLED capacitive touchscreen that provides 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution.
ZTE Nubia Red Magic 6R runs on the Android 11 + Redmagic 4.0 operating system. The phone is powered by the Qualcomm SM8350 Snapdragon 888 5G (5 nm) Octa-core processor while the GPU is Adreno 660.
ZTE Nubia Red Magic 6R come in variants such as 128GB + 6GB RAM, 128GB + 8GB RAM, 128GB + 12GB RAM and 256GB + 12GB RAM. It supports dual SIM (Nano-SIM, dual stand-by).
The smartphone is kept on by a 2400 mAh built-in battery + fast charging 30W + power delivery 3.0 + quick charge 4. It is available in three colors: Light Blue, Mercury Silver, and Black.
The phone is integrated with a quad-camera on the rear side: 64-megapixel (wide) + 8-megapixel (ultrawide) + 5-megapixel (macro) and 2-megapixel (depth). For selfies, the phone comes with a 16-megapixel front camera.
Sensors on the smartphone include a compass, proximity gyro, accelerometer, and fingerprint (under display, optical). It also features Bluetooth 5.2, USB Type-C 3.0, USB On-The-Go (OTG), NFC, GPS with dual-band A-GPS, BDS, and GLONASS.
