McDonald’s Philippines is already working with various barangays before the launch of the most-awaited BTS meal.

On Thursday (June 17, 2021), McDo PH assistant vice president for marketing and channels Oliver Rabatan said that the fast-food chain is already coordinating with barangay officials to ensure the safety of customers and workers during the launch of BTS meal on Friday (June 18, 2021).

Rabatan said that barangay tanods would help manage the queues in fast-food outlets to ensure that the public is complying with the health protocols. The company would also see to it that the meal would be served fast and safe.

“We’ve proactively coordinated with different barangays and LGUs (local government units), informing them about the launch tomorrow, and even asking for their assistance, Hopefully, operations will be smooth as butter,” Rabatan said.

The firm would also set up purple-themed decor and interactive props during the BTS Meal launch in the Philippines. The company would also feature store employees dancing the viral hits from the Kpop band.

The meal offers a serve of fries, 10 pieces of chicken nuggets, sweet chili and cajun sauces with soda. The sauces were inspired by the one offered in South Korea. However, the meal will be offered in a limited-edition only.
