It’s Showtime host Jugs Jugueta reacts to netizen’s post comparing Shay Mitchell to Liza Soberano voice acting skills in Pinoy animated series “Trese.”
Budjette Tan’s Filipino komik series is written and illustrated by Kajo Baldisimo. “Trese” was recently included to one of the most popular video streaming services, “Netflix.” The aforementioned Netflix original was dubbed in Tagalog by Filipina actress Liza Soberano, while the English version was dubbed by Fil-Am actress Shay Mitchell.

It’s worth noting that Liza, together with Pretty Little Liars star Shay Mitchell, has given Alexandra Trese a new lease on life. However, some internet users have compared Liza’s voice acting abilities to Shay’s.
Netizens on Twitter couldn’t stop comparing Liza’s voice acting abilities to Shay’s. Shay apparently reads Filipino phrases better than the Filipina actress, according to a Twitter user.
“How the f*ck is Shay Mitchell reading Filipino words better than Liza Soberano?” the netizen wrote which poke It’s Showtime host Jugs Jugueta to react.
Jugs did not respond with any words or sentences; instead, the singer-host merely left a series of laughing-crying emojis. Jugs’ reaction sparked a variety of reactions from netizens who expressed their opinions on Liza’s voice acting in the series.
