Manilyn Reynes shared this throwback video clip
Actress Manilyn Reynes reminisced a scene with the late Julie Vega in the movie Dear Mama that was released back in the 1984.
Manilyn has been in the industry for several decades now and she was one of the popular child actresses in the 80s. From being a child star, she was able to have her transition as a teen idol until she became one of the most-respected actresses in the industry.
In her recent Instagram posts, she shared a video clip of her emotional scene with Julie Vega who died in May of 1965. The world of showbiz in the Philippines was shocked when this happened. At that time, Julie was well-loved by many. Aside from having a charming face, she was known for her prowess when it comes to dramatic scenes.
Her unexpected passing away also sparked controversies as many versions of speculations surfaced regarding the cause of death. However, facts and scientific evidences, later on, proved that superstitious beliefs about her death were not true.
Until now, many people still remember Julie Vega and just recently, Manilyn Reynes shared that she remembered her “Ate Darling”. “Ito po ‘yung iyakan sa initan na eksena (smiling emoji) With Ate Darling ( Ms. Julie Vega ),” the Pepito Manaloto actress wrote in the caption of her post.
Several netizens who commented on the post of Manilyn recalled how good she was in the said movie and her other projects. Many netizens also shared that they also miss Julie Vega.
Meanwhile, last January, Janice de Belen, who was also part of the movie Dear Mama, also shared a throwback photo with the late actress.
