Vicki Belo shared that Derek Ramsay called her before the proposal
Kapuso actor Derek Ramsay had this conversation with celebrity doctor Vicki Belo before he proposed to his girlfriend Ellen Adarna.
Derek and Vicki are close friends. Their friendship goes beyond company-client setup as the actor is one of the endorsers of the doctor’s beauty clinic.
In a recent vlog of Vicki, she interviewed Derek and Ellen and dig down at the start of their relationship until the proposal happened. After a couple of months of being together, Derek Ramsay proposed to Ellen Adarna at an event that the latter thought was for her birthday.
From the unique first encounter during a dinner at a restaurant, the two celebrities have found something very comforting towards each other and this is leading to marriage. Before the proposal, Vicki revealed that Derek called her up. “This is the girl, I’m really gonna propose, I’m getting married Vicks,” the celebrity doctor shared what the actor told her.
Vicki was apparently surprised and asked Derek if how long he has known Ellen. The actor answered that it was three days shy of one month. Hearing about this for the first time, Ellen was laughing.
With this, Vicki said that when the couple just kissed after one month, that means that Derek has already decided to get married to Ellen even before their “awkward first kiss”.
“There was just, it was just an instant connection,” Derek Ramsay explained. The celebrity doctor also shared that the actor asked help about the engagement ring.
Knowing that Ellen had a huge diamond ring from her father, Vicki said that she suggested that the actor should choose other stones instead.
Derek said that he knows the importance of the ring that Ellen received from her father and he can’t compete with that.
