3 Police Recruits of PRO-BAR with Fake RT-PCR Test Results Disqualified, Face Charges
The Philippine National Police (PNP) assured disqualification of three (3) police recruits of PRO-BAR after found with fake RT-PCR test results.
Police recruits who submitted fraudulent RT-PCR test results were dismissed and charged by PNP Chief Gen. Guillermo Eleazar. This follows the discovery that three police applicants in the ongoing recruiting at the Police Regional Office-Bangsamoro Autonomous Region (PRO-BAR) submitted fraudulent RT-PCR test results.

Three of the 66 applicants in PRO BAR, according to Eleazar, have been disqualified and are now facing criminal charges. In Lanao Del Sur, some 45 other police applications are still being investigated.
According to the PNP Chief, several police candidates admitted to skipping the swab test and paying 500 pesos for a bogus RT PCR result. Others took the swab test but were unaware that the RT PCR result they submitted was fraudulent, and are now being investigated.
Eleazar believes that this episode should have served as a lesson to other applicants, preventing them from being disqualified and facing an investigation. He stated that it is critical to do the right thing and follow the PNP application process.
