Cops Nab Over 20 Bar Customers For Violating Curfew Policy in Quezon City

The police authorities nabbed over 20 bar customers in Quezon City for violating the curfew policy in the area.

The Philippine government and authorities have been implementing stricter rules and regulation in the country due to the coronavirus pandemic. The stricter quarantine protocols aims to reduce the increasing rate of the coronavirus cases.

The authorities are also implementing curfew policy, which prohibits the residents to go outside during a certain period of time.

Bar Customers

Last Saturday (June 5, 2021), about 20 customers in Quezon City have been caught violating the curfew policy in the area for staying at a bar beyond the given time. The authorities issued citation ticket to the customers.

The curfew violators will be charged a fine of P300 for their offense. The bar would also face corresponding sanctions and penalties for defying the quarantine protocols and curfew policy in the city.

A bar employee explained that the establishment is already closed before 10:00 pm and they are just waiting for the customers to go home.

“Mahigit 20 customer ng isang bar sa Quezon City ang tineketan dahil sa paglabag sa curfew. Ayon sa empleyado ng bar, sarado na sila bago pa mag-curfew, ang mga nahuling customer ay pauwi na raw.”
