Neil Salvacion defends Rabiya Mateo after netizens mocked her “I can make a man stay” statement.
RABIYA MATEO – Ex-boyfriend of Rabiya Mateo confirms split and defended beauty queen from mocking comments against her.
In a previous article, non-showbiz boyfriend Miss Universe Philippines 2020 Rabiya Mateo, Neil Salvacion confirms that they are not together anymore putting an end to all the rumors floating online. It was accordingly a mutual decision and they are both happy with their own lives now as they move forward.
Salvacion also added in his statement that Rabiya is never deserving of all the criticizing comments about her because she worked hard on her way up. Moreover, he expressed that where God has placed them now must have a reason behind that is for the better for the both of them.
With their split finally confirmed, people recalled what Rabiya has said before where she said that they will never breakup no matter what the outcome of the international may be and firmly expressed that she can make a man stay. She in her statement before with full conviction:
“I have a boyfriend for six years…we have been dating. I can make a man stay – we have been together since college. I made a promise to him I will not leave him even if I won Miss Universe Philippines 2020.”
Mocking comments have countered to her now regarding this past statement of her and as a response to one netizen, she just said, “Godbless you Maam.”
In another comment where a different person online demanded her apology to the people and who preached her to find herself after being caught in a complicated situation of her life, Neil defended her in a reply. Her ex-boyfriend said that there’s not a need to apologize to anyone because happiness is a choice that certainly goes the same for the Ilongga beauty queen.
He replied, “happiness is a choice, we’re both happy with our decision, stop doing this kind of narrative. She doesn’t need to apologize to anyone.”
