Meanwhile, a PCG Marshal stationed at the EDSA Carousel Ortigas Avenue station was hailed for his bravery in dealing with a beggar impersonating a limp who tried to harass him. The PCG marshal was motivated to make the arrest after passengers complained that he was scolding them and even threatening them with a knife if they refused to give him money.
The arresting officer, I-ACT PCG Marshal Abundol, sought to seize the offender and escort him away from the busway. The suspect, however, refused to leave the area, stood in front of the buses, and began verbally insulting the authority figure.
The man then pulled out a knife and tries to harass the I-ACT PCG Marshal, revealing his ability to run while wearing crutches. According to the footage, Abundol then pushed the man down to disarm him.
