Eatery Owner Breaks Silence After Water Dispenser Signage “Not for Food Panda riders” Gone Viral
The eatery owner finally breaks silence over the viral water dispenser signage “For customers only, Not for Food Panda riders”.
Earlier, the photo of a n eatery that prohibits the Food Panda riders to drink from the water dispenser immediately spread like a wildfire online and garnered various reactions from the social media users.
The signage said that the water from the dispenser is strictly for customers only and not for Food Panda riders although the establishment have Bible verses at the wall. The eatery elicits criticisms online.
Recently, a Facebook user named Christos T. Agregado, the eatery owner expressed his disappointment after receiving a lot of negative reactions from the netizens. He declined the allegations that he placed the signage “Not for Food Panda riders”.
Christos clarified that he only attached the signage “For customers only” as a part of their plan to reduce the eatery expenses due to the coronavirus pandemic. He explained that they have set a station for Food Panda riders.
Agregado explained that they were providing tap water with ice for delivery riders but the mineral water at the dispenser is for customers only.

Nandiyan ang cctv ng rider na kumuha ng litrato, nasan ang nakakaawa diyan na uhaw uhaw dahil di naka-inom ng tubig? Pinagdamutan ba talaga?
Sana man lang bago mag share ng isang bagay ay yung buong katotohanan.
Makikita niyo na dinugtong nalang yung not for food panda dahil ilang buwan na din nakalagay na “for customers only” ngunit ang iba ay tila walang pakialam sa nakalagay na alam naman nilang may station inilaan sakanila. Makikita niyo sa cctv footage yung food panda napapasok sana dahil alam niya kung nasaan ang tubig ngunit may dagdag na sa nakasulat at kaya doon na siya kumuha sa station na nakalaan para sa kanila. Sa kanyang galaw alam niya kung saan dapat ang kanilang tubig.
Lahat tayo’y apektado ng pandemic, maging ang aming negosyo, nag cucut din kami ng expenses dahil hirap din ngayong pandemic at isinasaalang-alang din namin ang kaligtasan para sa lahat dahil maliit din ang dine in area sa loob upang di na pumasok pa ang mga rider dahil may oras na nagkakasabay-sabay ang mga order from food panda at ang dine-in customers.
Business is business kung meron pwede ma cut sa expenses at makatipid yan po ang gagawin ng isang negosyante.
Sa water refilling station nga may bayad ang tubig. Nag papalibre tubig ba sila? Same lang yan samin nag nenegosyo din po kami.
Okay lang sana uminom ng isang beses kaso madami po ang foodpanda riders at may baon pa sila after mag inom kaya ginawa namin para makatipid sa expenses naghilaway nlng kami ng tap water with ice para sa rider kasi malaki din po masasave namin sa isang taon bilang negosyante.
Wag na lang ibash yung nag pic at post na rider. Gusto ko lang ishare ang side namin sa issue na ‘to.
