Dennis Trillo mentioned John Lloyd Cruz in a recent interview
Kapuso actor Dennis Trillo revealed something about matinee idol John Lloyd Cruz who is set to have his TV comeback on GMA-7.
Dennis and John Lloyd are two of the brilliant actors in this generation. During a recent interview on 24 Oras’s Chika Minute, the Legal Wives actor said that it already came to his knowledge that the A-list actor will be doing projects in the Kapuso network.
Dennis revealed that he and John Lloyd were set to be together in a project for the first time. However, this did not push through due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Nagka-pandemic, hindi siya nagkatotoo. Hindi siya natuloy. Pero open pa rin ‘yung project na ‘yon. Dapat makakatrabaho ko siya ro’n and sobrang hoping ako,” Dennis Trillo revealed.
However, the Kapuso actor did not reveal further details of that canceled project with the returning actor. Meanwhile, Dennis shared that in his new project with Andrea Torres, Alice Dixson, and Bianca Umali, they really worked hard in every detail, including the costumes and their looks, in order to make their characters realistic.
“Napakaimportante kasi nung look para maniwala sila do’n sa character. Kapag hindi masyado nag-effort dun sa look mo, kapag isang plain lang na Dennis Trillo, tapos para ‘yun lang ‘yung mapapanood nila na dinamitan mo lang ng ibang costume, parang kulang ‘yung gano’n, e,” he said.
The actor added that in his several years in the industry, he considers his Legal Wives character names Ismael as the hardest to do, so far. After reading the script, Dennis said that he admired how the character overcame all the obstacles in life.
