According to Sen. Pacquiao, he got hurt and felt disrespected over the move of Sen. Cayetano who was set to interpellate him. Based on the report, the boxer-turned-senator stressed that he waited so they can continue their discussion in the plenary. He is hoping that it won’t happen again.

For her part, Sen. Cayetano stressed her disapproval on the supposed “insinuation” that she walked out and left. According to her, it is not fair for her constituents who she committed to work for. Furthermore, she expressed that she is just following the priorities so she asked permission.

Furthermore, the lady Senator expressed that her staff informed the staff of Sen. Pacquiao that she cannot interpellate him as she needs to go. She stressed that it is not her intention to hurt someone and she did not violate the rules.
