Actress Meryll Soriano revealed the reaction of her 13-year-old son Elijah when she told him that she was pregnant.
Elijah is Meryll’s son with former partner Bernard Palanca. In 2019, the actress was able to rekindle her relationship with actor Joem Bascon when they had the chance to work together in the series Starla.
Now, Joem and Meryll are blessed with a child and this made Elijah happy also. Based on the article in PEP, the actress shared that her son had been wishing for this moment to come.
“Nung sinabi ko na pregnant ako, naiyak siya. Secret wish niya yun since ten years old siya. Nag-iyakan kami,” the actress shared.
She added that Elijah really feels like a “kuya” to his younger sibling. “Walang pagseselos saka dream talaga ni Eli na magkaroon ng kapatid,” Meryll said.
The actress also shared the relationship that her son has with Joem. She said that the actor already took care of Elijah when he was two years old. At that time Joem and Meryll were together. “Nakakatuwa na walang indifference sa kanilang dalawa. Eli loves Joem and Joem loves Eli,” she said.
Being a mother again at the age of 38, Meryll Soriano said that she is happy. It is because she has a partner in taking care of her kid.
The pandemic also gave her and Joem the time to take care of their baby. Despite the difficulty, the actress considers this a wonderful blessing. Meryll also shared that her father Willie Revillame is excited for her baby to grow up so that they can bond together.
