JOEM BASCON – Actress Meryll Soriano has this response when asked about about marriage with partner actor Joem Bascon.

In the first month of the new year, actress Meryll Soriano made a relationship announcement with Joem Bascon as they also introduce their baby. After many years, the celebrity couple came back to each other and for a time, it made a loud buzz online. The actor, before his rekindled romance with the actress, was in an 8-year relationship with vlogger Crisa Uy.

In a previous article, Meryll shared having a child is already a part of their plan dismissing the rumors that overlapping of relationship has happened. Merylle and Joem first worked together in I Love Betty La Fea of ABS-CBN in 2008 and got separated in 2010. They were able to work again in 2019 in Starla and the movie Culion, where rumors of their rekindled romance started.

During Meryll’s interview in Cinema News At Home, she shared that 11 years ago, Joem and her were not on the same page which is one of the reasons why their relationship ended. And now, having their love the second time around is “lovelier”. She shared, “I mean, hindi ko inakala. Ibibigay sa iyo ng tadhana kung ano ang para sa iyo. Winelcome ko nang bonggang-bongga. May mga bagay na di ka ma-explain sa mundong ito at sa buhay mo. When you’re open and ready, darating din ang para sa iyo.”

And when she was asked about having any wedding plans, she laugh off the question and expressed that she can’t share anything about it. For now, dodging the question, she said that they are still busy as parents and focused on their baby.

In terms of issues regarding Joem’s ex-girlfriend, she stated that she has no time any negativity. Entertaining such would accordingly just trigger something in her mental health and this is also her way to as to prevent mental stress and post partum depression.
