Toni Fowler Meet-and-Greet Event Earned Violation Ticket Due to Followers’ Flock

Vlogger Toni Fowler and fifty others get violation ticket after her meet-and-greet was flocked by followers that led to violating gathering protocol.

Toni and Mari Fowler, vlogger sisters, never expected their fans to rush their meet-and-greet at their frozen goods business. They allegedly started their company, Fowler Sisters Online Palengke, in April and it is also located at Montreal St., Barangay E. Rodriguez in Cubao, Quezon City.

Just 50 people responded to their meet-and-greet invitation, according to Toni Fowler, and they didn’t expect the rest of the fans to show up until their seats on the second floor of the building, facing the street, were complete.

According to attendees, the vloggers’ meet-and-greet invitation was posted on the Fowlers’ Facebook page, and they were given frozen goods and even had the opportunity to take a photo with them. Toni Fowler, on the other hand, said that attendees purchased P500 worth of frozen goods and photographed them.

After a netizen announced the increased number of people outside the building to the barangay, the QC Task Force Discipline was dispatched. According to Councilor Noriel Verano, when they arrived at the location before 4 p.m., the 2nd floor inside and outside the online market was already packed.

As a result, the Fowler sisters were told to call a halt to the event and accept blame for violating minimum health protocols, mass gathering, and failure to comply with social distancing.

The Fowler sisters, on the other hand, confessed to having flaws because they failed to contact the barangay, resulting in them and their guests being booked. They also apologised and stated that they would face the consequences of all those who attended, a total of 34 people.

Others who had arrived earlier had left before the task force arrived. The Fowler sisters was liable if anyone tested positive for COVID-19 among those who attended and it was determined that they contracted the disease.
