MISS UNIVERSE 2020 – The second runner-up of Miss Universe 2020, Janick Maceta uploaded a super cute video of her bonding moment with Rabiya Mateo backstage
Ilongga beauty queen Rabiya Mateo represented the Philippines in the Miss Universe 2020 competition. The coronation was held in Hollywood, Florida in the United States on Monday (Manila time).
The Pinay made it to the Top 21 of the pageant but failed to get to the Top 10. Mexico’s bet Andrea Meza was crowned Miss Universe 2020. She’s a software engineer, activist, and model.
After the coronation night, Rabiya Mateo and her fellow candidate Miss Bolivia Lenka Nemer shared an empowering message to their fans and other delegates. They said their Miss Universe journey is a once-in-a-lifetime experience
The Pinay also said she was able to find friendships with many candidates from other countries. “This is like a start – a beautiful start for something new. And actually, it’s just gonna be one girl who’s gonna be crowned, but I know in my heart, everyone of us, we are alright even without that crown,” she said.

Miss Universe second runner-up Miss Peru Janick Maceta just uploaded proof that Rabiya Mateo has made friends during the Miss Universe pageant. She shared a super cute video of her bonding moment with the Pinay beauty backstage.
Janick also sent a sweet message to Rabiya. According to her, she loves her and she will miss her now that the competition is finished.
“I love you @rabiyamateo! Gonna miss you so much,” she wrote.
