PGT Mark Joven Olvido Arrested In A Buy-Bust Operation In Laguna

Talent show finalist Mark Joven Olvido caught in a buy-bust operation in Laguna.

MARK JOVEN OLVIDO – Pilipinas Got Talent Season 6 finalist Mark Joven Olvido arrested in Laguna after being caught in a buy-bust operation, May 14.

In a buy-bust operation of DEU/PIU District lead by P/Lt. Henry Sasaluyam with six other police officials, ABS-CBN reality franchise show of Pilipinas Got Talent Season 6 third runner-up Mark Joven Olvido was arrested. He is famous for his funny vape tricks, who, after winning, was able to land in several shows and films like 3Pol Trobol, Huli Ka Balbon! (2019), and Unli Life (2018). He also appeared in FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.

Laguna Provincial Police first received a report about this and eventually did a buy-bust operation in Barangay Duhat where Olvido got arrested. He was caught with three sachets of illegal substances and buy-bust money worth Php 2,000.000. He is now in Sta. Cruz Municipal Police Station as per ABS-CBN report.

He was arrested by the officials from Sta. Cruz Municipal Police Station and some members of Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Region 4. He violated Republic Act 9165 Article ll sections 5 and 11.

To recall, because of his funny stints in PGT season 6, he was able to land in the third runner-up during the finals and was also dubbed as the “Va*e Master”.

Meanwhile, PGT is based on the Got Talent franchise owned by Simon Cowell’s SYCO company. The grand champions of six seasons were Jovit Baldivino, Marcelito Pomoy, the Maasinhon Trio, Roel Manlangit, the Power Duo, and Kristel de Catalina.

It has been said that the ABS-CBN will have the 7th season but due the the network’s shutdown and the ongoing pandemic, it seems like this won’t be pushed through anytime sooner.
