ANGEL LOCSIN – Squad Plus member Alyanna Angeles speaks about her “Tita Gel” Angel Locsin and her reputation for doing all those good deeds.
Former child star and now a part of the “Squad Plus” Alyanna Angeles is actually the niece of actress and philanthropist Angel Locsin. She is known for playing the young Kim Chiu in defunct ABS-CBN series such as “Ikaw Lamang” and “The Story of Us”. And now, returning to the limelight, she became a part of the said group and is one of the casts of Huwag Kang Mangamba.
And speaking of Tita Gel, she admitted that the actress is not someone she looks up to to copy but instead someone she sees as an inspiration to be like someday. Being dubbed as a real-life Darna or a real-life hero, she is also one of the best actresses the local industry ever had and that being said is something also Alyanna would also want to achieve.
She said based on PUSH, “I like the way she acts and how she has her feet on the ground pa rin. How she has a good heart despite kung sino na siya ngayon. And gusto ko rin na magaling siya mag-acting.”
The young actress also expressed her sympathy to her Tita Gel who previously faced controversy about her community pantry that took the life of an old man. It was her way to celebrate her 36th birthday and always wanting to give, she put up her on pantry but miscalculated the people who went.
She said this to her, “Tita Gel, I just hope you stay strong and we all believe in you and we hope you are okay since hindi mo naman kasalanan yung nangyari and we know that your intentions are pure and you just want to help people out.”
