RICKY LO – The family of the veteran journalist who recently died wants the public to respect his death so they didn’t reveal the details about it yet.

Today, countless people woke up to a sad news upon hearing about the death of veteran journalist Ricky Lo. He is one of the most popular in the journalism field.

Born on April 21, 1946 in Las Navas, Northern Samar, Ricardo or Ricky got Chinese descent. He is a graduate of the University of the East with a degree on Bachelor of Arts in English. He has several experiences in the field of journalism before he got the key to national popularity in the field.

From 1969 to 1972, Ricky was Variety magazine’s Editorial Assistant. It was the Sunday supplement of The Manila Times and it was where his column entitled “FunFare” was first published. He also got experiences of being a staff writer of the Philippine Daily Express and deskman of The Evening Express.

Ricky had been The Manila Times’ Entertainment Editor, too. He also got the same position for The Manila Chronicle where he published his FunFare again.

Ricky was a journalist and a book author at the same time. He wrote “Star-Studded” and “Conversations with Ricky Lo”. He also had hosting experiences being part of ABS-CBN’s The Buzz in 1999 and GMA-7’s Startalk from 2008 to 2015.

Most of the life of Ricky Lo was spent being a journalist. A lot of people were greatly saddened upon hearing about his death but there were not much details about it as of this writing.

According to The Philippine Star, Ricky’s sister, Susan Lee, said that they want the public to respect the death of her brother thus they did not reveal the details yet. The journalist is at the age of 75 when he passed away last night, April 4, 2021.
