Bong Revilla expressed gratitude to the Kapuso network
Senator Bong Revilla is thankful to GMA-7 for accepting him again for his showbiz comeback despite the past controversy he went through.
To recall, the actor-politician faced plunder and corruption complaints. For a while, he was out of the limelight. However, this year, he comes back with a new TV series in the Kapuso network.
Based on the article in Bandera, Bong showed appreciation for GMA’s support for his showbiz career. “Unang-una I’m very happy to be back on GMA television, dito sa aking first love,” he said.
He also said that aside from public service, his passion is also in showbiz and he is thankful that the Kapuso network trusted him.
“Despite sa challenges na nangyari sa buhay ko, nandiyan sila at hindi nila ako pinabayaan,” the actor-politician said. He added that from the beginning, he has always been a Kapuso.
Bong Revilla also assured the avid viewers of GMA that what they are looking for can be seen on his new teleseryes Agimat ng Agila with Sanya Lopez.
He admitted that doing this series was challenging as they were in a lock-in taping setup. Bong added that there were certain worries because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
On the other hand, this project also gave work to many people in the industry. “Kailangan din natin makatulong sa mga kapatid natin sa industriya. Kailangan makapagbigay tayo ng trabaho at makapagpasaya tayo ng mga tao,” the actor politician said.
Bong Revilla also said that they were able to do a good project. This is something that he can be proud of. He also loves his character who shows compassion for nature and family and gives importance to the Filipino core values.
