Celebrity vlogger Donnalyn Bartolome has these fierce reactions to netizens who insisted that she should get married already and have her own kids.
Donnalyn is one of the celebrity vloggers in the Philippines who now has millions of subscribers on the video-sharing social media platform. Her popularity can also be seen in the number of her followers on her social media accounts.
She is being admired also for her talent as a singer, aside from the entertaining contents that she offers to her fans on her YouTube channel.
However, not all netizens that has commented on her social media posts expressed admiration for her. Some just wanted to insist what they want her to do with her personal life.
Based on the article in Inquirer Entertainment, the singer-actress-vlogger shared a throwback photo. She featured her photo that was taken when she was just 17 years old.
This received comments from several netizens who said that she should settle down already and start having her own children. Donnalyn Bartolome replied with fierceness to these comments of netizens. She shared the screenshots on her Facebook Page as well.
“Nagpost ako ng photo ko [noong 17 years old ako], dami niyo na sinabi,” she wrote in the caption of her post. One comment from a netizen stated: “Mag-anak ka na. Mahirap tumanda nang walang anak.”
Donnalyn replied to this by saying that it is more difficult to have kids and just make them as retirement plan. “Have children because you want to experience the joys of being a parent. Not with the intention of obligating them of responsibility that isn’t theirs,” she said.
Another netizen said this to the celebrity vlogger: “Tumatanda ka na wala ka pang pinapakilalang jowa.” Donnalyn Bartolome replied to this with, “Bakit? Magulang ba kita?”
