According to an article from Inquirer, the video was recorded as a farewell tribute for the outgoing commanding officer of Indonesia’s Submarine Corps. Sadly, their goodbye tribute turned to a grim reality as their ship was found wrecked at the bottom of the seabed off the coast of Bali.

The German-made submarine was one of five in Indonesia’s fleet. Unfortunately, the vessel disappeared Wednesday, last week while schedule to conduct a live torpedo training exercise in Bali.
