Here’s what Jimuel Pacquiao said about his showbiz career
Newly launched Squad Plus of Star Magic and ABS-CBN member Jimuel Pacquiao shared the reason why he decided to have his career in showbiz.
During a recent virtual media conference to introduce the new artists of the Kapamilya network, Jimuel revealed that he never thought he would enter the entertainment industry.
He also admitted that there are lots of offers for him in showbiz, based on the article in Bandera. “They always say na when you are young, always try everything,” he said and so he gave it a try.
“So naisipan ko na subukan kasi even in high school I had experience din naman when it comes to acting so I want to give it a try and see how it goes from here,” Jimuel Pacquiao shared.
He was also asked if what was the reaction of his parents when he finally decided to be in showbiz. The young showbiz newbie said that his parents are very supportive.
“They’re very supportive naman kasi kung papapiliin sila, showbiz or boxing, siyempre du’n sila sa showbiz kasi ayaw nila akong mag-boxing,” Jimuel revealed
He added that Manny and Jinkee Pacquiao made sure that he really wants to be in the entertainment industry and if it is the things he really wants to do. His parents made him understand the effort that he has to do, especially when it comes to tiring schedules.
“Medyo sanay na ako ngayon kasi ever since kahit nung maliit pa kami, grabe na yung attention sa dad ko. Every time he has his fights, nasasali kami sa mga interviews, ganu’n,” Jimuel Pacquiao said when asked about intrigues.
He said that he is somehow used to dealing with it as he encounters negative comments on social media as well.
