2 Korean Nationals, 2 Others Selling Illegal Firearms Arrested in Las Piñas
Authorities arrested two (2) Korean nationals along with two comrades after caught selling illegal firearms in Las Piñas.
An arms buy-bust operation in Las Piñas City resulted in the arrest of four people, including two South Korean nationals over the illegal sale of various types of firearms. Tomas Adonis, Patrick Rowan, and South Korean nationals Han Bao and Hu Zhi were among those arrested by the CIDG field unit.

Based on the report of PNA, they were apprehended in Las Piñas City’s Emapalico Subdivision, according to Director Maj. Gen. Albert Ferro of the Philippine National Police’s Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (PNP-CIDG). According to Ferro, a Chinese informant was offered by the suspects’ to sell their weapons over the internet.
Following that, a CIDG agent claimed to be the Chinese poseur buyer’s driver and assistant in the operation that led to the suspects’ capture. A 9mm Colt gun, a 5.56 caliber Colt AR-15 rifle, a.38 caliber revolver, a.45 caliber pistol, various ammunition, marked money, a laptop computer, various credit cards, blank cards, and skimming devices were among the firearms recovered during the operation.
