Derek Ramsay Breaks Up w/ Andrea Over Phone, Here's What He Said

Famous actor Derek Ramsay admits he’s the one who called it quits in his relationship with Andrea Torres.

DEREK RAMSAY – Controversial personality Derek Ramsay revealed that he was the one who initiated break up with Andrea Torres.

Last November 2020, 44-year-old actor Derek Ramsay announced the split with actress Andrea Torres who he’s been with for over a year. It didn’t work out between the two of them due to differences. In a statement the actress released addressing their split, she expressed, “Yes, Derek and I are no longer together. I’d rather keep the details private as I want to give the breakup the same amount of respect that I had for the relationship.”

This is her one and only statement about the matter and she remained mum all throughout about it. And now, months after, with a new love and now engaged to Ellen Adarna, Derek bravely admitted to the radio program of Cristy Fermin called Cristy Per Minute on April 20, that he was actually the one who initiated the split with Torres.

Aside from their differences, one factor as well was her family and what’s even more shocking that he regretted doing is that the split happened over the phone. They have accordingly encountered a problem that for him, is a sign indicating that their relationship won’t work out. The actor furthered that they were raised differently, thus, their values were not the same.

And this is what he accordingly told her: “I think that this is the end of this relationship because we cannot see eye to eye on this matter. So I think it’s just best na kumalas na tayo ngayon rather than lalaki pa, and then two, three years down the road, maghihiwalay tayo. Babalikan natin ito kasi nga iba ang views natin sa problemang ‘yan, and it’s a waste of time and it’s a waste of effort… masakit, di ba?”

Not intending to waste any more time, he initiated the break up to which the actress has also agreed. They ended it all up over the phone and for it to happen that way is one thing he is regretful about.
