Kobe Bryant’s Estate Decides Not To Renew Nike Partnership

KOBE BRYANT’S ESTATE – The estate of late basketball legend did not renew his partnership with popular shoe brand, Nike.

One of the basketball legends that many people are looking up to is the late legendary cager Kobe Bryant. Sadly, he died in a helicopter crash in January 2020 on his way to Calabasas, California. Then, Kobe was with his daughter, Gigi, and several others. They were supposedly off to a basketball event.

Gigi is also into basketball like her father. The legendary basketball player has always been proud and fond of his daughter assuring him that she’s continue his legacy. She wants to make the female category of the sport known to the world.

The world grieved with the Bryant family over the death of the Black Mamba and Gigi. They are survived by his wife, Vanessa, and their three (3) other daughters – Natalia, Bianka, and Capri.

Kobe also left behind a lot of deals and partnerships with popular brands. One of these is with Nike, one of the most popular shoe brand in the globe. Truths be told that the signature shoes of the late basketball legend are sought-after by a lot of avid fans and supporters.

However, an update regarding Kobe’s partnership with Nike recently crossed the surface. Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, Kobe Bryant’s estate did not renew his deal with the popular shoe brand.

Kobe and Nike were partners for 18 years. Based on the report, the said partnership reached its end last week. Following Kobe Bryant’s estate not renewing his deal with Nike, the popular shoe brand released a statement assuring that the late basketball legend will always be part of its family.

“Kobe Bryant was an important part of Nike’s deep connection to consumers. He pushed us and made everyone around him better. Though our contractual relationship has ended, he remains a deeply loved member of the Nike family,” Nike said.
