World’s Most Expensive Footballer Dedicates Goal To Kobe Bryant

KOBE BRYANT – Football superstar Neymar dedicated his goal to the late NBA star Kobe Bryant.

Hours after the news broke that the National Basketball Association (NBA) superstar Kobe Bryant and his 13-year-old daughter Gianna Bryant and seven others died in a helicopter crash in Calabasas, California, the music community gathered at Staples Center in Los Angeles for the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards.

The show started with a heartfelt tribute for the former Los Angeles Lakers player and his daughter. Singer Alicia Keys and Boyz II Men performed the group’s famous song “It’s Hard To Say Goodbye To Yesterday.”

Kobe Bryant’s Filipino fans including celebrities like Anne Curtis, Manny Pacquiao, Ogie Alcasid, and Arnel Pineda expressed grief and disbelief on social media. The fighting senator uploaded a photo of himself with the iconic basketball player during the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

Paris Saint-Germain’s Neymar dedicated his goal to the late basketball legend Kobe Bryant. After the ball hit the back of the net, he solemnly walked towards the camera and held out 24 with his hands (Kobe’s jersey number). He then put his hands together in prayer before pointing the sky.

The world’s most expensive player undoubtedly played the second half of the football game with a heavy heart with the thought of one of his sports heroes passing away so tragically.
