Robber Pretended on Social Media as a Pretty Woman to Bait Victims
A hold-upper or robber took social media to look for his victims as he pretended and uses the identity of a pretty woman to attract men.
Alvin Amandog, 27, a resident and worker of Hacienda Bayabas in Barangay Tortosa in Manapla city, was named as the suspect. The defendant reportedly claimed to be a beautiful woman with a fake account in Negros Occidental to search for someone to rob.

According to the report, Amandog was apprehended by authorities in an entrapment operation. Several bullets from a.38 caliber rifle, two sachets suspected of shabu, and several objects believed to belong to his victim were seized from him.
The suspect allegedly created a fake account and pretended to be a beautiful woman to look for a man to victimize when he chatted with her and wanted to meet.
When they met, Amandog allegedly pointed his gun at the victim in an attempt to rob him. His victims are typically men, according to Police Lieutenant Abegail Donasco, spokesperson for the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office.
Other victims were urged to file a complaint against Amandong by the police. At the same time, officials warned citizens to be cautious about people they meet on social media.
