2 Colorum Vans Arrested in Laguna Over Smuggling Untested People to NCR
Calamba, Laguna policemen arrested two (2) more colorum vans for smuggling untested people to NCR bubble.
In the city of Calamba, Laguna, two more colorum vans were impounded for breaching health protocols and illegally transporting people from NCR Plus, despite the fact that it is still under lockdown.
The Inter-Agency Council for Traffic (i-ACT) conducted the operation at Real Road, Barangay Turbina. A total of 14 people, as well as equipments, were seen inside the van, which was jammed.

The passengers claimed to be from the provinces of Southern Luzon, according to the paper. The fare from Bicol to Quezon City is P2,000 per person, while the fare from Lucban, Quezon, and Pasay City is P2,500 per person.
Meanwhile, the Land Transportation Office (LTO) operatives apprehended the van from Caloocan who was found illegally transporting passengers out of the “National Capital Region (NCR) Plus” bubble. According to the LTO, the van was carrying five passengers and was scheduled to drop them off near the Quezon-Camarines Sur border.
According to the previous article, there were tires in front of the car that covered the passengers’ belongings. Approximately 60 smugglers have been apprehended in the region.
