Korina Sanchez, Mar Roxas’ Twins Pepe & Pilar Speaks Ilonggo
PEPE & PILAR – Watch the video of Korina Sanchez and Mar Roxas’ twins Pepe and Pilar speaking the Ilonggo dialect.
The hometown of the former Interior Secretary Manuel “Mar” Roxas is in Roxas City in Capiz. He is the grandson of former president Manuel Roxas.
The 63-year-old politician was previously in a relationship with former beauty queen Maricar Zaldarriaga. They have a son named Paolo Roxas.
In 2002, Mar Roxas met broadcast journalist Korina Sanchez, they dated for several years and announced their engagement in 2009. They tied the knot twelve years ago at the Sto. Domingo Church in Quezon City.
In a post on her Instagram account last April 11, Korina Sanchez shared a video clip of her with twins Pepe and Pilar speaking in Ilonggo. She even had to ask their housekeeper what her children’s words meant.
Ilonggo is the home dialect of Mar Roxas. The parents of the politician are both Ilonggo from Roxas, Capiz, and Negros Occidental so it’s not surprising that their kids learn the language.
