The show of Willie Revillame had to reduce staff members
Wowowin host Willie Revillame will make these changes in his Kapuso game show amid the enhanced community quarantine due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Live shows are once again greatly affected by the implementation of ECQ because of the alarming rise in the number of cases in the National Capital Region (NCR).
In line with this, based on the article in Bandera, Willie said that they had to limit the number of their personnel at the studio.
“Nagbawas po kami ng mga staff, sumusunod kami sa requirement na 30% lang. So, ‘yung mga ganitong bagay idi-discuss ko muna lahat. Wala muna kaming mga dancers, of course, naiintindihan naman nila ‘yon,” the TV host said.
He stressed that their priority is the safety of everyone as it will affect the whole program. “So, maingat ho kami. Iilan na lang ho kami dito. Kokonti na lang ho kami,” Kuya Will said.
He added that all of them are wearing face mask and face shield in the studio as part of the protocol. They also observe social distancing even when they eat unlike before that they would share a meal together.
Willie Revillame also shared that he talked to the management of GMA as he suggested that they will just do a lock-in show in a different venue.
“Baka ho, at nakikiusap ako, para ho mag-lockdown kami mismo, eh baka ho by next week, doon muna kami sa ibang lugar. Kami po ay magba-bubble. Sa Puerto Galera po ako magso-show at maganda naman, kukumustahin natin ang ating mga kapatid nating katutubo ro’n. Baka ho next week ganu’n ang mangyari, pag na-approve kami,” he said.
As of the writing, there is no final decision yet regarding this suggestion of Kuya Wil. Meanwhile, Wowowin has kept on extending help to the less fortunate Pinoys amid the second season of ECQ. Reportedly, the show has already donated P3 million worth of rice to affected families.
