Luis Manzano and Jessy Mendiola received this presumption regarding their married life
Newlywed celebrity couple Luis Manzano and Jessy Mendiola spread love and good vibes online when they announced that they already tied the knot but one comment assumed that they will have a problem in the future because of this.
Luis and Jessy have been together for four years before they took their relationship to the next level. Last December 2020, they announced their engagement. Two months after that, they held their wedding in an intimate ceremony at The Farm at San Benito, Lipa, Batangas.
However, they just announced it to the public this month through a vlog on Jessy’s YouTube channel. One of the aspects of the wedding that caught the attention of the online community was the wedding rings of the celebrity couple from Manila Diamond Studio.
To recall, the engagement ring of Jessy Mendiola was also made by the same jeweler. It was a large, round-cut solitaire diamond and at both sides had three smaller diamonds. Reportedly, that costs P5 milion.
For their wedding rings, Luis Manzano chose a simple shiny gold band while his wife’s band featured seven diamonds, the three of which are rare pink diamonds.
“Manila Diamond Studio ang gumawa ng rings namin at sila ang nakaisip ng unique na design na pink diamonds ang ilagay sa wedding band ni Jessy,” Luis said in an interview with PEP.
Netizen have various reactions to this. Some talked about what was engraved in their wedding rings in one of the recent IG post of Jessy featuring their wedding rings.
One said that it was a Bible verse and a date while another one said that the date does not support the reports that they got married last February 21, 2021 while the numbers on the band was 12/2/21. With this, assumption surfaced that the latter is the date for the “bonggang” wedding.
One netizen wrote this comment, “pag di daw the same ang wedding band di mag last forever ang marriage.”
However, Luis Manzano said that he and Jessy Mendiola will wear the same wedding ring for their bigger wedding that they are planning to have this December, based on the article in Preview.
