DEREK RAMSAY – Kapuso actor Derek Ramsay shares the story of how he got the engagement ring for Ellen Adarna and addressed the rumors that comes with it.
Among the most controversial personalities of today are Derek Ramsay and Ellen Adarna whose relationship went on a fast pace. A month after their relationship announcement is their engagement announcement which absolutely shocked many people. Despite the doubters of their relationship, several have expressed their happiness for them for they finally found each other to settle with.

One of the scene-stealers during the engagement, on the other hands, aside from Derek finally kneeling to someone with the bachground, is the pear-shaped diamond ring he’s offering to her. The ring’s features is unique compared to the usual solitaire-cut diamond. And there comes a rumor again about the engagement ring. Allegedly, Derek had it already passed from his previous partners and now to Ellen.
Addressing the rumors, Derek said that this is not true. During an interview with G3 San Diego on #LiveWithG3 last April 5, he denied such saying that the move is so cheap and so low. This is accordingly something he will not do because if he did, he would have gone to news reports already engaged to someone with that same object but it never happened. It was only with Ellen that he knelt down and surrendered his life as a single man.

“There’s no ex-deal here. Nothing of the sort. My God ang cheap naman nun. This is me getting married. This is me proposing. Hindi ko nga tinanggap yung 7.8 carat diamond from my mom di ba?” he explained along with the revelation that his mom attempted to give him a 7.8 carat to give to Ellen which he refused to accept. As per him, he had the ring done according to his specifications and was thankful that it arrived on the day he will be proposing to her.
