Friends and family of Chito Miranda got worried when this happened
Parokya ni Edgar frontman Chito Miranda recalled the time when his family and friends reported him to the police because of this reason.
In the recent Instagram post of the band vocalist, he shared a photo of an old article back in 2010. The showbiz news article was about how Angel Locsin, who is close to Chito, and with other friends got worried as they suddenly could not contact the singer.
No one knew where he was at that time. Chito said someone sent the old article to Angel and she shared this on their chatroom. In the caption of his post, he explained the reason why he was out of reach at that time.
“Eto yung time na tumakas kami ni Neri sa Tagaytay,” Chito Miranda said. He shared that he was with Paolo and Bubbles Paraiso at their house in Quezon City and Neil Arce was also there. The PNE vocalist said that his two male friends were busy for NBA Live at that time while Bubbles might sleeping already.
He left without saying anything to his friends. “Sinundo ko si Neri (Naig, his wife), at umakyat kami sa Tagaytay para mag-breakfast. Dun ko lang napansin na coding pala ako. #StyleBulok,” Chito shared. He added that both of their cellphones had empty battery and they had no charger.
For Chito, they were not thinking about anything at that time because they were together. He came back home at midnight and he was surprised that his older brother was angry.
“Sumigaw sya para ipaalam sa family ko na nandun na ko. Sabi nya “Nandito sa si Chito!!!…si Chito Miranda,” the singer said. Then, he messaged Neil to ask where was their “gimik” venue and found out that her friends are also looking for him.
“Naka-report na pala ako sa pulis! Hinanap din ako ni Pao kay Kaye (Abad), na sya namang nag-aalalang tumawag sa pamilya ko, na sya rin namang nag-panic!” Chito shared.
He also clarified that he and Kaye, his ex-girlfriend, has already broke up at that time but the actress is still close with his family until now. After their breakup, they remained friends.
One funny thing that Chito Miranda also noticed in the old article about him was that it was published with the photo of Angel Locsin.
