Is it true that Bea Alonzo will be a Kapuso soon?
A rumor surfaced a few days ago that actress Bea Alonzo is set to transfer to GMA as it was said that the Kapuso network is preparing a big contract for her.
For two decades, Bea was under the management of Star Magic, the talent manager firm of ABS-CBN where she started her career and did various movie and TV projects.
However, early this year, the actress announced that she officially left Star Magic and is now being managed by her manager Shirley Kuan. She will be doing a movie this year with Kapuso Pambansang Bae Alden Richards. They first work together as a shampoo commercial.
In line with this project, a recent rumor surfaced that GMA will offer the actress a Kapuso contract. A few days after that rumor surfaced, the manager of Bea Alonzo broke her silence.
Entertainment columnist Nora Calderon wrote in her article in Philstar’s Pang-Masa that Shirley Kuan was surprised that this kind of rumor about the actress surfaced. This brought a surprised reaction also to those who are in GMA network.
Reportedly, there is no truth to this and Bea is now focused on just doing the movie A Moment to Remember with Alden. Her manager also said that they are not committing, as of now, in other projects. It is because three movie projects are lined up for the actress to do this year.
All the three upcoming films are still in the preparation stage until now because of the stricter health protocols due to enhanced community quarantine recently implemented.
