The Xiaomi POCO M2 was announced on September 8, 2020, and released on September 15, 2020. The smartphone comes in a 6.53” screen size and the display is IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen that provides 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution.
Xiaomi POCO M2 measures 163.3 x 77 x 9.1 mm and weighs 198 grams. It has the Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is built with a glass front (Gorilla Glass 3), a plastic back, and a plastic frame.
The smartphone supports dual SIM (Nano-SIM, dual stand-by). It is powered by Mediatek Helio G80 (12 nm) processor. POCO M2 runs on the Android 10 + MIUI 12 operating system. It is packed with 6GB of RAM while the internal storage has 64GB and 128GB options.
Xiaomi POCO M2 sports a quad-camera setup at the back comprising of a 13-megapixel (wide) + 8-megapixel (ultrawide) + 5-megapixel (macro) + 2-megapixel (depth) sensor. On the front, there’s an 8-megapixel (wide) camera for clicking selfies.
The device is powered by a 5000 mAh Li-Po battery (non-removable) + fast charging 18W. POCO M2 is available in three colors: Slate Blue, Pitch Black, and Brick Red.
Sensors on the phone include proximity, compass, accelerometer, and fingerprint (rear-mounted). It also features Bluetooth 5.0, GPS with A-GPS, BDS, GLONASS, Infrared port, FM radio, USB OTG, and USB Type-C 2.0.
