2 Factory Workers Arrested in a Quarantine Checkpoint and Yields Illegal Drugs
Two (2) men working as factory workers arrested after police manning at a quarantine checkpoint found illegal drugs in them.
The two men are facing multiple charges after being arrested at a quarantine checkpoint on the boundary of the cities of Caloocan and Meycauayan, in Bulacan province after they have been apprehended as they fail to wear helmets.
Based on the report of P/Lt. Col. Bernardo Pagaduan, chief of the Meycauayan City Police Station (CPS), to P/Col. Lawrence Cajipe, provincial director of the Bulacan PNP, identified the two suspects as Aldrin Dabu and Richie Lachica, factory workers.
It was learned that early Monday morning, Meycauayan CPS operatives stopped the two suspects from riding a motorcycle because they were not wearing helmets after passing through the quarantine checkpoint conducting Oplan Sita on the boundary of Caloocan City and Brgy. Bahay-Pare, in the city of Meycauayan.
Because of a violation of the law, the two were unable to lie down but while investigating the authorities they found a package of Maryjane, a bottle of gin, and a plastic tube pipe with marijuana residue.
