Elderly Man Hit in Head by Brother-in-Law Over Argue in Funeral Donations
ELDERLY MAN – An old man suffers a head injury after being hit by his brother-in-law due to arguing over funeral donations.
An old man’s head fills with blood after being his brother -in -law with a shovel just because of the donation of his late wife wake in Brgy. Linabuan Norte, Kalibo. The victim, identified as William Nanit Sr.
Nanit was currently being treated at the hospital of Magdalena Village, New Buswang, Kalibo. The suspect was identified as Danilo Guiller resident of the said area, based on the report.

According to the Kalibo Police Station, before the incident, the man was still drinking outside the victim’s home when Nanit suddenly complained about the donation of his late wife, the suspect’s sister.
Exiting the investigation, the victim complained that the donation did not go to him as he is the husband. The complained resulted to an argument which make the suspect irritated.
Due to his anger, he took a shovel and then hit the victim on the head. The victim was immediately taken to Aklan Provincial Hospital for treatment
The suspect was in the custody of the Kalibo PNP and a case was scheduled to be filed. The suspect’s defense, on the other hand, was that he was embarrassed by the victim because the donations for the burial of his sister were almost insufficient.
